There’s a new beat in camp town, and it’s got scouts dancing from Daisy to Junior! The Badge Archive is releasing a brand-new K-Pop remix of the beloved classic “The Princess Pat,” and we want to see your troop’s moves in action.
Same classic lyrics. Totally new rhythm. Endless room to groove.
This challenge is all about getting scouts up and moving. Use the original hand motions (or invent your own!) and let the music lead the way. The goal? Create a K-Pop-style dance music video that blends campfire tradition with your troop’s one-of-a-kind energy.
We’ve already shared one version of the K-Pop “Princess Pat,” but found this new track even more fun to dance to. We’re keeping it exclusive for this challenge!

How to Join In
This is a great challenge to just keep it for yourselves as a troop keepsake—it’s all about having fun! Keep in mind, this challenge is open to all scouts: Girl Scouts, Scouts BSA, Cub Scouts, Venture Scouts, American Heritage Girls, Trail Life USA, Campfire… the list goes on!
However, if you want to submit an official video:
- Play the downloaded file of the New K-Pop remix of “The Princess Pat”
- Teach or review the traditional motions, or make up new ones that fit the remix!
- Film your scouts dancing using a phone or tablet
- Submit the video to The Badge Archive if you’d like to be featured in a full music video compilation (Photo Release Forms will be required for anyone in the video)
Why Do It? It isn’t for a Badge…
This remix activity keeps scouts physically active, builds memory and coordination, and celebrates creativity. It’s also a great break from sit-down badge work or an energizing start to a meeting.
Plus, it’s pure joy. And that’s reason enough. You can always find a Fun Patch (Troop 114033 loved the one by Mad About Patches.)
