GSUSA – 5 Quick Meetings

Sometimes plans fall through, it doesn’t have to mean the end of the adventure! Flexibility is key, and with a little creativity, you can turn a last-minute change into a memorable and exciting experience for your scouts. After all, some of the best moments come from thinking on your feet!

Here are some quick and engaging activities to save the day:

🎉 Pringle Chip Challenge: A tasty STEM activity that’s as fun as it is creative! Build a chip ring and earn a fun patch while learning about physics. One can per 3 scouts for team building, or one can per scout if doing individual. (Hint – ask each scout to bring their own can!)

🔍 Camp Trefoil Mystery: Dive into detective work with a mystery perfect for Brownies and Juniors. It’s a great way to explore observation and problem-solving skills. Plan to complete the Detective badge for Juniors at the following meeting – it’s a little out of order as most do the badge work and finish with the mystery – but work with what you have time for!

🔐 Escape Room Adventure: Try the Girlguiding UK-themed printable escape room! It’s only $10 on Teachers Pay Teachers and allows Daisy, Brownie, or Junior troops earn the 2025 World Thinking Day badge. And yes – you can earn the 2025 badge all the way until Dec 31st, even if World Thinking Day is in February.

💡 Shark Tank Entrepreneur Meeting: Let your scouts pitch their big ideas in a fun, creative way while working towards an entrepreneur badge. Use the Brownie or Junior version to earn their entrepreneur badges!

🚶‍♀️ Take a Hike: Urban hikes are a fantastic way to explore your surroundings. Just start walking from your usual meeting spot and see where the adventure takes you!

✨ Remember, it’s all about making memories and having fun, no matter the circumstances.
