Scout Ceremonies

Scout ceremonies are a meaningful way to celebrate achievements, traditions, and milestones in both Girl Scouts and Scouting America organizations. 🌟

For Girl Scouts, ceremonies mark special moments like bridging to a new level, earning awards, or rededicating to the Promise and Law. They can also honor the American flag, celebrate Founder’s Day, or simply bring a troop together in friendship and reflection. See GSUSA Ceremonies for more specifics on GSUSA Ceremonies.

In Scouting America, ceremonies add significance to events like rank advancements, Courts of Honor, campfire programs, and flag presentations. They inspire scouts, recognize accomplishments, and strengthen the bonds of the scouting community.

Whether simple or elaborate, scout ceremonies create lasting memories and reinforce the values that guide scouts on their journey. 🏕️✨

The Badge Archive is going to start Archiving various Ceremonies as we come across them. First up – The Touchstone Ceremony. This one is good to use after a camp or event where everyone got to know each other for the first time and learned a new skill. It celebrates individually while being part of a bigger whole.
