We’ve gone down another rabbit hole.
The Council Resources page with Patch Programs needed a link check. A lot of their redesigns in 2024 have moved the page link for their patch program or eliminated them.
We also realized that dear Kate, who did such an awesome job on her spreadsheet of patches by theme in 2022, no longer had valid links as well. We started checking a few out that we personally needed (Community Service for Girl Scout Week!) and were disappointed to see so many no longer there.
As we updated the Patch Program links, we realized that some were still there, just not in the same place, or re-named. Some had requirements there but no longer had patches available. They were still great programs that others could put their own Fun Patch to.
One thing let to another… and now we’re slowly working our way through all the council’s patch program pages to give a few of the more popular categories a list of their own.
This is going to take a while. We only got through “A” in the State list after several hours of work.
