The Badge Archive

This year we’ve focused on the women that made Computer Science history:

• Ada Lovelace
• Grace Hopper
• Katherine Johnson
• Margaret Hamilton

Any one of these women can be used to earn the Daisy, Brownie, or Junior level Coding Basic badges.

We’ve even made a specific plan for Daisy and Brownies:

• Ada Lovelace Centered Daisy Coding Basics
• Grace Hopper Centered Brownie Coding Basics

As of March 31st, 2025 – Our Junior-level Margaret Hamilton/Katherine Johnson plan to earn both the Junior Coding Basics and Junior Cybersecurity Basics badges is STILL in the testing phase. Why? Because it snowballed!

We now have a year of Space Themed Junior Badges that we’re currently testing and trying out. We’ve had a lot of fun with the NASA theme! But it will delay releasing the plans as we wish to have them all as one full set for troops to pick and choose which Space-filled fun they will try in a year of Space-themed badges. (There are currently 20 badges we’ve themed and we are trying them all out to ensure quality. Wish to be a tester? Contact us!)
