2024 Novelist NaNoWriMo – Day 23

November 23rd

Page 17 time.

This is usually the tail end of your writing. Most will write only one more scene from here on out.

Some will just keep writing from where they started. Some are jumping around and will keep to the list of scenes they want to conquer as they go.

Others might want to skip all the way to the end. Especially if you are feeling the burn out. How is this book going to end? If you haven’t already imagined it, think about where your characters will end up after their adventures. Will it have a happy ending, tragedy, something funny? Or will it hint at a new story yet to come?

What final scene will you write for this challenge?

Finish!

Page 17 is done. Go on to Day 24.

We’re just going to keep going. We started at the beginning with a scene we immediately thought of. But since this was a story made from a prompt, we’re not quite sure where we’re going with it. It’s been a blast to write and come up with things as we go, but we’re kind of letting the characters have fun and follow along. The only skipping ahead we do is when we’re stuck for a scene and we write a summary of what we need to happen and just move on to the next one we can more clearly see.
