November 21st
Page 15!
You aren’t some kind of writing machine. You have thoughts and other things going on in life.
When you write, some days are going to be stellar and some a struggle to get a few sentences. That’s normal!
As you practice, writing can become easier, but even professional writers who have published books will tell you some days they just can’t write anything good. They’ll end up re-writing it all on a different day even when they try.
Are you able to write every day? Or has it been hit and miss?
Finish!
Page 13 is ready. Go on to Day 22.
Want an Example?
We’ve reach the point we can write every day. But some days we re-read what we wrote the day before (so we know where we were at and how to continue the scene)… and then we want to re-write the whole thing. We don’t! That’s part of the editing process, but we might make notes on what will be changing when we do and then continue the story from there.
(Go back to Day 20?)
