If you aren’t worried about where one chapter starts or ends, that’s good too. Chapter breaks can be put in later.
Non-fiction how-tos and collections should have 8 items or steps by now. But some steps are complicated and require more time. Some items take a bit more research – put in placeholder information so you don’t get stuck on one item. Keep moving forward.

Want an Example?
We’re not doing chapters ourselves. Just kind of letting the story go along. This Mirror of Truth keeps bogging us down. We kind of just put in a description and move on because we can’t agree what it is. A computer type tool, or one with a personality? Does it state truth or show it? How do they know it’s the Mirror of Truth and not just a different enchanted item? We leave these questions unanswered for now and keep moving forward with the plot. The answer might come to us like it did for how to pull our Warriors into the mix.
