With a dedicated time to write, sometimes you’ll get stumped. Writer’s block happens.
There’s a funny video about how to write when you don’t want to. The struggle is real! It’s funny, but true. Another video gives 5 helpful tips.
Try pulling out a writer’s tool during your writing time and see if it might help get you through it.
NaNoWriMo’s official blog gave a few examples:

When we get blocked, we usually open a new file or page and just start writing what we’re thinking. Don’t worry about grammar or run on sentences, just literally write as you are thinking it.
It might sound like this “okay this is silly i can’t believe i can’t think of anything to write but okay i’m here and i’m writing and this is stupid but i guess it’s working. Words are getting down on paper. but this isn’t my story. I’m just stuck because i skipped out how Clara and Ava got out of the kitchen and in the public to hear the retirement announcement and then that made it hard to figure out what they would do when they heard it. i got their reactions and emotions down but what would they do? they aren’t political figures, not leaders of the town. they don’t have jobs where they do anything that would be directly affect by the God retiring. Clara helps with the town storehouse and Ava helps with the building maintenance. There isn’t really a grocery store so I didn’t have them leave the house for a missing ingredient, but maybe they can go to the storehouse for one. okay, if they are at the storehouse, it’s also where Clara works, so maybe her job is affected. Because we all know when people panic they stock up on supplies. but the towns don’t work like that so they can’t get more than they need. but how do they know what they need, just an honor code or is it rationed. hmm.. okay so it’s rationed and we just need to have clara be told she’s going to be putting in some overtime or maybe they are more worried about physical break ins. yeah that’s more likely. and then we can have clara go recruit warriors to protect the warehouse but they’ll actually end up in this adventure with Clara and Ava that will somehow involve a mirror of truth showing there is a child of the God and they need that child to take over. Okay i need to hit the character generator again – and look I wrote half a page! let’s get my warrior character personality and then see what i can do about page 4”
