We’re working on getting a basic plan for all badges with the best free to low cost activities troops actually enjoy doing.
We asked around on a leader Facebook Group for what everyone thought the best free or low cost badge was their troop did. More than a few came back that all badges could be done free or low cost…
Challenge accepted.
We were just planning a fun infographic (see the unfinished original plan in the image) but it’s grown into a much larger project. We started going through Brownies to see if we can do it. We can’t say the Automotive badges are completely low cost, but we certainly looked for the lowest cost options. Our post last week came from going down that rabbit hole.
This project will definitely take a while. Once we get through them, maybe we’ll finish that infographic with our personal favorites.
