Do the Paper Bridge experiment and emphasize how there are many ways to make the bridge and some work better than others.
Make a Gift
Scouts make a set of art magnets for a friend or family member. They need to pick out who they will give it to and make the art special to match who they are giving it to.
Make Something Useful
Make an Art Caddy they can use at home.
Compare the two projects
Remind scouts to pay attention because you’ll ask them questions at the end about everyone’s projects. Scouts each get to show the two projects they made to the troop. Ask scouts to share one thing they would have done differently to make it better when they share their projects.
Help Each Other
Go around the troop one last time and ask them if there was anything they thought was a really good feature on anyone’s project or if they agree with an improvement any of the scouts shared.
