Meeting idea – Most troops will be able to do this in a 90 minute meeting.

Meeting Outline

Do your normal troop opening.

• If you need a gathering activity, print out Halloween coloring pages

Show some spooky art (D/B/J Requirement 1)

• Find some examples of Halloween inspired art and show the scouts.
• Look around the room for some inspiration or have them think of their favorite Halloween decorations.

Make a Landscape (D Requirement 3, B/J Requirement 4)

• Draw a landscape with spooky trees, bigger in the foreground and smaller in the background. (Color with pencils or markers if desired and have time.)

Paint (D Requirement 2, B/J Requirements 2 & 3)

• Use Glow Paint and have them paint with spooky shapes, lines, or texture. The feeling should be a spooky celebration.

Show them off (B/J Requirement 5)

• Line up all the art work so they can all view each other’s work in a mini gallery. (Bonus if the parents can come in to ooo and aah at the artwork!)
