Items Needed:
- Draw a lion face on a paper (or print one out).
- Prepared squares or strips of paper in a color appropriate for a lion’s mane but still possible to write or draw on.
- Tape or glue.
Instructions:
- Scouts write or draw ways they can take care of themselves on strips/squares of paper. While some duplicates can be accepted, encourage them to think of different ways than what their neighbor scout is writing/drawing.
- As they finish, they tape or glue their piece around the lion face, to create a mane.
- Scouts continue to write or draw until they feel like the mane is complete.
