What is this badge about?
Explore life beyond Earth and NASA’s Science Mission Directorate, do one activity for space science exploration, and participate in one science activity, then share one thing you learned with others.

Our Summary* of requirements:
- Explore the possibility of life beyond Earth and engage in exciting activities to learn more about alien worlds with one activity (design a habitat for an alien world, create a postcard/tourist brochure for a solar system body or exoplanet, OR plan a mission to explore a celestial object).
- Dive into NASA’s Science Mission Directorate (discover careers, explore a NASA’s Science Mission Directorate division, OR investigate internships, competitions, webcasts, and lectures).
- Engage in space science exploration with one activity (citizen scientist project, use telescope remotely, OR build a telescope).
- Explore deeper in one aspect (participate in a NASA competition, plan and document a field trip to show others, OR conduct research with a mentor AND enter the project into a science fair).
- Share your discoveries (digitally, through visual art, or with a performance piece).
