“Journey” badges should go where #25, #26, or #29 is stated on the GSUSA Uniform Guide. Vests have all skill-based badges on only the insignia tab side.
The Think Like a… badges can be placed without the Take Action badge for an incomplete journey and the Take Action badge added next to it later. There is no specific placement or order for these two badges, they just are displayed next to each other to show a completed Journey.
The Senior Outdoor Journey does not have to be in a specific order, or placement. Just place all 4 badges in the same area together. You can place badges as you earn them, you do not have to wait until all 4 badges are earned. If you never earn all 4 badges, these can still be placed on the Journey side of the vest.
Think Like a… and Outdoor Journey badges can also go where #16 is stated on the GSUSA Uniform Guide, with the Skill Based badges, if no Take Action badge is planned to turn it into a Journey at all in the 2 years as a Senior Girl Scout. However, placing it where #24 is often preferred to free up space for other skill-based badges where #16 is.
This also allows the option of earning the full Journey later without having to move the badge later. It is possible to put only the Take Action badge on the insignia tab side if the other badge was placed on the council ID side at an earlier time. Do not fret about moving it over, nothing requires you to do so.

Sashes
Badges and pins on the front of a sash simply go in order (top of sash to bottom of sash) of Identification badges, bridging badge, pins, journeys, and other badges.
Anything that does not fit on the front can be placed on the back of the sash, official badges included. Fun Patches are traditionally placed on the back of the uniform, but sashes will not hold a lot of badges and official badges are often needed to be placed on the back.
Vests are recommended if you plan to earn a lot of badges, but you can opt to place fun patches on a tote/bag, jacket, or blanket and leave the entire sash open for only official badges.
Future Senior and Ambassador Badges
If you are using the same tan vest from Cadette level and plan to continue wearing it during Ambassador level – be aware that the Cadette badges go below the Senior and Ambassador badges. Place the Cadette badges on the bottom hem line of the vest and work upwards as you age through the levels. The Ambassador level badges will be on the top row.
