What is this badge about?
Make art inspired by or from nature.
Choose your own activities!
Our Summary* of requirements:
- Observe and record what you see in nature (spot 3 things, write 5 observations) OR talk to an artist that makes nature art.
- Make something nature inspired (art to wear, leaf fan, flower sachet, leaf rubbing, bark cast).
- Use nature inspiration to make music or dance (animal mimic card game, song creation, wind chime).
- Take photos (pretend to shrink and take up close images, take them at different times of day) OR draw or paint like it’s a photo (use magnifying glass for details, make a square with your fingers and capture what’s in the frame, draw your backyard and add something imaginative).
- Make art with nature (fairy house, box garden, seed starter, arrange rock/stone/gravel in design, washable paint on a window, tissue paper suncatcher).
* – This summary is based off the GSUSA booklet activity choices.

Is there a matching badge for Multi-Level Troops?
The requirements are the same in all five upper levels, just with different recommended activities or projects. Daisies just have two less requirements than the other levels.
Look at the Activity List for Outdoor Art for ideas on what projects and activities you can do or links to instructions for the above suggested GSUSA activities.
