Released in 2022 but is considered part of the 2011 Girl’s Guide. Replaced Financing My Dreams (now retired) as the new Year 3 Financial Literacy badge. The Cadette page has information on when all badges were released.
What is this badge about?
Create a budget for your future goals with specific future job/career income, location cost of living, and daily life costs.

Our Summary* of requirements:
- Pick a future job/career AND know the salary and monthly take home pay (interview others, brainstorm as a group, OR research online).
- For age 25, decide where you want to live AND know the cost of rentals, cost of living, monthly utility bills, AND monthly internet/cable bill. (calculate between two options, get advice from a real estate expert, OR research).
- Think of you life at age 25 (imagine, interview others, OR research three role models) AND find out what costs might come from what you want to do (travel/trips, grooming, AND/OR entertainment).
- Decide what way AND how much per month you spend on giving back at age 25 (talk to philanthropists, research, OR make a plan).
- Think of daily life (imagine, interview others, OR research three role models) AND find out what costs might come living at age 25 (food, clothing, toiletries, daily transportation, health insurance, car insurance, AND savings).
