Released in 2021 but is considered part of the 2011 Girl’s Guide. Replaced Research & Development (retired) as the new Year 1 Cookie Business badge. The Ambassador page has information on when all badges were released.

What is this badge about?

Practice cookie sales, make a marketing plan, create a pitch, and learn about what a resume and a portfolio is and how cookie experience can be used in them.

Our Summary* of requirements:

  1. Know your cookies, dates of sale and deadlines, rewards, etc. and make a troop sales goal.
  2. Learn what a resume is and how your past with cookie sales can be used on it.
  3. Make a marketing plan for the cookie sale and get feedback (mentor, family, business person, entrepreneur).
  4. Create a pitch for a new marketing method.
  5. Learn what a portfolio is (examples of work like videos, pitch scripts, photos) and make one from your cookie experiences.
