Step 1 – Fuel yourself for fun
Explore how food and water give our bodies the energy to move, play, and enjoy the things we love (Learn what foods fuel activity OR track how much water you should drink daily).

Decorate Bottle and Track – Scouts decorate a water bottle and use a tracker to notice how drinking water helps their body feel good. - ((Similar to VTK/Handbook Suggestion))
Eat for Energy – Scouts create a picture that shows how their favorite foods help them do fun, active things. - Fuel or Fizzle – Scouts race to sort food cards into “Fuel” or “Fizzle” in small teams, then compare results and act out how their favorite food makes them feel.
- For D/B Troops:
Power Up Food and Fun Song – Scouts move to a song that links food and energy, then reflect on how different foods helped them power up. - Solo Fuel Movement – Scouts match energy-giving foods to fun movements and act them out to see how food helps fuel their bodies.
- Game: Fuel Movement – Scouts match energy foods to movement prompts and act them out to explore how food fuels their bodies.
Step 2 – Move to feel great
Explore how fun, everyday movements like stretching and laughing can help you feel calm, energized, and great in you body.

Laughter Yoga – Scouts try laughter yoga by combining playful movements with joyful sounds to help their bodies and minds feel good. - For D/B Troops:
Noodle the Stretchy Cat – Story and Dance – Scouts stretch and move along with a story and a song to help their bodies feel calm, playful, and strong. Then reflect on how movement and music make them feel. - Solo Stretch Story – Scouts follow a story and copy gentle stretches and movements to help their bodies feel calm, playful, and strong.
Step 3 – Learn about body language
Learn how body language helps show feelings, even without words with posture, facial expression, or movement (Mirror Body Language OR Body Language Charades).
RECOMMENDED: Mirror Body Language
- Body Language Reflection – Scouts use body language to act out emotions and reflect on which feelings were easier or harder to show without speaking.

Mirror Body Language – Scouts mirror a partner’s body language to explore how movements and expressions show feelings. - For D/B Troops:
Mirror Body Language Dance – Scouts dance to music and mirror a partner’s movements to explore how body language and rhythm express emotions. - ((Similar to VTK/Handbook Suggestion))
Game: Body Language Charades – Scouts act out emotions using body language while others guess the feeling, then reflect on what helped them understand each one.
Step 4 – Explore the world
Use your body and senses to discover how movement and observation help you experience new things.
