- Learn what letterboxing is and practice how to do it (learn terms, what makes a good hiding spot, how to follow clues).
- Make or get a stamp to use for letterboxing.
- Learn about clue letterbox hints (fill-in-the-blank, scrambles, number codes) and solve one.
- Search for a letterbox (one already hidden or one a group in the troop makes and hides).
- Make a letter box with directions and hide it for someone else to find.
