2011 – Leadership Pin Placement

Starting at the Junior level, GSUSA has a variety of Leadership pins. This starts at Junior Aide and progresses to Volunteer in Training. It also includes the new Leadership Awards released in 2025 of Take Action, Global Action, and True North. Torch Awards and Service Bar Awards are also listed here.

The Leadership Pins should go where #7 is stated in the diagrams below. They go under the bridging badge and should go in front or above the standard pins (My Promise, My Faith, Cookie Entrepreneur, and Safety Award).

The Torch Awards are to be placed on the scout’s right, on the outside edge of the vest or the sash. See #8 in the diagrams below.

The Service Bar awards are to be placed on the scouts left, on the inside edge of the vest or the sash. See #6 in the diagrams below.
