Released in 2011 and is considered part of the 2011 Girl’s Guide. The Ambassador page has information on when all badges were released.

Our Summary* of requirements:

  1. Look high, look wide – Pick an issue and research how it started, identifying the cause and who is affected.
  2. Do the Math – Do two (out of four) ‘Do the Math’ actions.
  3. Be Hawk-eyed – Collect 10 examples of news stories and 10 examples of advertisements about environmental issues, categorize them in some way, AND analyze, compare, and reflect on them.
  4. Take the scientific view – Pick an issue and find a scientific result that has multiple interpretations and consult an expert for their view.
  5. Decipher decisions – Find an adult who has faced a tough justice-related decision, interview them to understand the process, AND create guidelines for fair and effective decision-making based on their experience.
  6. Create your equation and present it – Take Action Project that focuses on advocating for or educating others about an environmental issue.
