What is this badge about?
Use a GPS to find hidden treasures outdoors.

Our Summary* of requirements:
- Learn what Geocaching is and how to do it (research, talk to a geocacher, OR attend a geocaching event).
- Practice (find the coordinates of 3 things, hide and item and give coordinates to a friend to find and then reverse, OR have adult give coordinates to 3 things with photos you have to find) finding latitude/longitude of GPS Coordinates.
- Make a trade item for Geocaching (SWAP, jewelry, drawing/picture, OR seashell).
- Go Geocaching (hiking, multi-cache, OR themed cache).
- Find a Travel Bug that has gone to at least 4 places and find out more about each place it’s been to OR make a Travel Bug (for international OR specifically for Girl Scouts).
