Discover how local, state, and federal government works and explore the three branches of government.

Our Summary* of requirements:
- Learn about local government (visit town/city hall, mayor’s office, talk to local government official, OR attend a city/town hall meeting).
- Learn how your state government is structured AND how it compares to a nearby state, find out about your most recent election AND brainstorm how to encourage voting, OR tour your state capitol.
- Write a letter to your state representative about an issue you care about, learn how an American territory is represented in Congress (House of Representatives and Senate), OR learn how many women are currently serving.
- Find out who the current presidential cabinet members are AND their roles, research vice presidents in history, OR create a presidential facts quiz.
- Talk to lawyer or judge, learn everything you can about one Supreme Court case in history, OR attend a session in court.
