Meeting One Outline
Meeting Start
Always plan for 5-10 minutes to allow scouts to arrive and your troop’s opening routines.

Activity 1 – Step 1

15 minutes
Taste Testing – Youth taste each cookie, score them, and share their favorite.
Activity 2 – Step 2
(Requirement 2 Earned)

15 minutes
Giving Back Goal – Youth decide how to give back with their cookie money by voting on a community idea and setting a goal.
Activity 3 – Step 4
(Requirement 4 Earned)
Time Expected*:
20 minutes
Dice Cookie Change – Youth practice calculating cookie orders and making change using dice rolls.
Activity 4 – Step 5
(Requirement 5 Earned)
Time Expected*:
15 minutes
Cookie Songs – Youth create their own cookie‑themed song to share with the option of turning them into a marketing campaign.
Activity 5 – Step 3
(Requirement 5 Earned)
Time Expected*:
15 minutes
Team Words – Youth play a team-building game by forming letters with their hands or bodies to spell words related to their cookie business.
Meeting End
Always plan for 5-10 minutes for clean up and Closing Routines
