Step 1 – Get to know your Cookie business
Learn the cookie flavors OR find out how an online sale works.
RECOMMENDED: Cookie Lanyard – Youth create a cookie lanyard or necklace to help them learn and remember cookie names and key facts with an option for writing a simple pitch for door-to-door sales.

Would You Rather Eat? – Youths play a simple “Would You Rather” game using cookie flavors and dice to compare different cookie amounts. - ((Similar to VTK/Handbook Suggestion))
Cookie Flashcards – Youth make flash cards to learn cookie names, descriptions, and prices. - ((Similar to VTK/Handbook Suggestion))

Step 2 – Decide on your giving goal
Make a goal (what you will do with money you earn OR who you will donate cookies to).
RECOMMENDED: Giving Back Goal – Youth decide how to give back with their cookie money by voting on a community idea and setting a goal.

Donation Poster – Youth make a donation poster to show how they will use cookie money to give back to the community. - ((Similar to VTK/Handbook Suggestion))

Step 3 – Build your team
Decide how roles are assigned when selling cookies at booths or in the troop.
RECOMMENDED: Team Words – Youth play a team-building game by forming letters with their hands or bodies to spell words related to their cookie business.

Cookie Seller Team Roles – Youth explore different cookie business team roles and practice them through creative role-play. - ((Similar to VTK/Handbook Suggestion))
Practice Cookie Booth – Youths practice setting up a booth, handling money, and making change at the pretend cookie booth. - ((Similar to VTK/Handbook Suggestion))

Step 4 – Practice handling money and tracking sales
Chart your total troop sales (in person or online) OR practice how to track sales at a booth.
RECOMMENDED: Dice Cookie Change – Youth practice calculating cookie orders and making change using dice rolls.

Step 5 – Show your cookie spirit
Decorate your booth, make a cookie costume, OR make a cookie song/dance.
RECOMMENDED: Cookie Songs – Youth create their own cookie‑themed song to share with the option of turning them into a marketing campaign.
