Choose your own activities!

  • Can only be earned by observing, assisting in a meeting, plan and lead a group activity, and planning and running a full meeting/event for younger scouts.
  • No Scouts Honor Wiki link

Our Summary* of requirements:

  1. Participate in a group of younger Girl Scouts (Daisies, Brownies, or Juniors) or another youth group to: learn about its members, observe how the meeting is organized, and begin exploring what kind of leader you want to be.
  2. Assist in a group meeting by preparing with the leader, supporting the kids during activities, and noticing how learning by doing, cooperative learning, and youth-led experiences are used in the group.
  3. Plan and lead a group activity by choosing something that reflects your interests, preparing clear steps with support from the leader, and guiding the group with confidence to help everyone feel included and engaged.
  4. Use what you’ve learned from leading an activity to plan a full meeting: reflect on your experience, choose a goal that helps the group grow, and create an agenda that keeps everyone engaged and learning together.
  5. Lead a full meeting after sharing your agenda with the group’s leader for approval, guiding the session with confidence and flexibility, and reflecting together on what you’ve learned and how you’ve grown as a leader.

(Note – Badges and pins on a sash simply go in order (top of sash to bottom of sash) of Identification badges, bridging badge, pins, journeys, and other badges. Anything that does not fit on the front can be placed on the back of the sash. Sashes will not hold a lot of badges and vests are recommended if you plan to earn badges.)
