Activity List(Not Available Yet)
Our Summary* of requirements:
- Do any one of the seven available Junior Journeys.
- Ideally, have a team of Girl Scouts that is taking on the same project. If no Girl Scouts in your area, recruit others her age or families/friends willing to help when needed.
- Teambuilding activities are recommended, but optional. Only requirement is to work as a team on the project.
- Examine your local area and see what is needed.
- The Service Cards used by Daisies to help them think of service opportunities can be used by Junior to think of any problems in different areas of the community.
- Choose a problem to help for the Bronze project.
- After brainstorming, chose one project that sounds like you can do to work on.
- Make a plan of action.
- Start counting hours at this point and use the Girl Guide and Adult Guide to help make a plan for the project.
- Call and research to ensure the project is possible before you do the majority of the work and planning. If you have to change your project, the time spent on the first does count, but only for so many hours as most councils have a limit for how many hours can be service versus how many hours are
- Follow the plan.
- Work as a team and take pictures and video along the way.
- Thank everyone that helped make the project happen and reflect on the experience.
