Our Summary* of requirements:
- Use singing to convey a message to an audience (Use a song to inspire others to action about a cause you are passionate about, teach new songs that promote the Girl Scout spirit to younger Girl Scouts at a songfest, OR host an event where Girl Scout alumnae sing older songs that current Girl Scouts may not know).
- Celebrate World Thinking Day (host an event that honors local women who exemplify the Girl Scout Law for younger scouts to attend, make World Thinking Day cards for a specific cause, OR help younger scouts earn the World Thinking Day award).
- Host a group panel or event to guide a discussion (how you might use the Girl Scout Law to make a difference in the issue, OR to encourage girls to consider how geology, civil and environmental engineering, product innovation, nanotechnology, ethnobiology, and other fields could help them share the Girl Scout Law through their careers), OR Learn all about a female role model’s job in an interview.
- Create a list of 10 ideas on a specific issue (Choose a civic issue that you want to affect throughout your life, and explore ways to make government a better place, an environmental issue that you want to affect throughout your life, and explore ways to make the environment a better place, OR a social issue that you want to affect throughout your life, and explore ways to improve the systems that create or contribute to the issue).
- Teach younger Girl Scouts a tradition (one that exemplified your Girl Scout experience, OR starting a new tradition of your own), OR help a younger troop earn their Girl Scout Way badge or Daisy Petals.
