Daisies got a new Daisy Girl Scout Activity Book and the year 2000 Guide For Daisy Girl Scout Leaders. It introduced the new Petal patches for that level – the first time Daisies ever got patches of their own. However, there were no requirements, just a chart of the Petals and what each line of the Law the colors represented in the Activity Book.

In the Activity book is simply says “Learning Petals” with the list of colors and law lines.

  1. Light Blue – Honest and Fair
  2. Yellow – Friendly and Helpful
  3. Spring Green – Considerate and Caring
  4. Red – Courageous and Strong
  5. Orange – Responsible for What I Say and Do
  6. Purple – Respect Myself and Others
  7. Magenta – Respect Authority
  8. Green – Use Resources Wisely
  9. Rose – Make the World a Better Place
  10. Violet – Be a Sister to Every Girl Scout
  11. Daisy Blue – Promise Center – Girl Scout Promise

The original requirements for the petals were released in 2011, with the Flower Friend Petal Pack.

NOTE – Requirements for all Petals changed in the summer of 2022 and the Flower Friend Stories were retired. The patch set still remains the same as when they were released in 2000.
