Just like animals use many materials to create their homes, gather some supplies you have on hand and create an artistic depiction of an animal’s home/nest/den/etc. that you learned about from Step 2. Find a picture of the real deal (the animal’s real home) and work off that to create your 3D model. It doesn’t have to be same as the picture. This is an artistic depiction.

Homes are supposed to help keep the animals warm when it gets cold outside and cool when it’s too hot outside. Follow the steps in the GSCIN Recorded Online Course to create a home for Jello to see if your home would keep your animal well insulated from the temperatures outside.

Draw your animal home and habitat. Find a picture of the real deal (the animal’s real home) and work off that for your drawing. Be sure to include sources for food, water and shelter in your habitat.
